Starting September 19
A hybrid-format course — weekly self-study modules with biweekly video calls
This course will offer a biblical look at Christian leadership focused on three key components: Character, Knowledge, and Skill. Twenty-two lessons will take each participant on a journey of growth and maturity in understanding God’s call to leadership and learning practical skills on how to lead others well. This course is ideal for pastors and any other church leaders who want to grow and learn how to more effectively lead God’s people.
Jon Byler | Course Creator & Co-Facilitator
Jon has a passion to see leaders grow and develop, becoming like Christ in their character, skill, and knowledge. He has served the global church for over 30 years through writing, teaching, and training and currently serves with the Center for Serving Leadership. These lessons have been used in many nations to develop leaders in person during the time Jon served with Global Disciples. This online content was developed for use on Radix in cooperation with Global Disciples and the Center for Serving Leadership.
He lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with his wife Loice. They enjoy their three children and are delighted to begin learning how to be grandparents to two beautiful little girls! Jon enjoys woodworking and an occasional bike ride. He has authored several books and writes a bi-weekly letter Reflections for Serving Leaders which is distributed by email in English, Spanish, and Chichewa.
